Distributed Energy Resource Projects
&
tax Equity Investments

At Gridwealth we develop, operate, and trade in new energy assets. We have a portfolio of commercial solar projects that qualify for tax incentives under the Inflation Reduction Act as well as accelerated depreciation credits. Qualified folks can take advantage of this opportunity as a tax equity investment (TEI). If you’re not familiar with TEI, you can read more about it in this Congressional Research Service document.

Historically, our TEI programs create potential tax savings equal to or greater than the invested principal in the first year with a potential 6-year aggregated return of 140%. Results can vary based on project size and investor participation. Regardless, unlike traditional investments, these returns are driven by tax credits and depreciation – much easier to count on than market fluctuations or the performance of individual companies.

Of course, rules apply and not everyone can take full advantage of the new regulations which is why we always recommend you consult with a tax advisor. Also, remember that prior results are not a guarantee of future performance.
